Start by following the instructions to add a new Space and follow the guidance below:
Space: Step 2 of 4
Update the following inputs for the Space: Step 2 of 4 page when adding a new Space:
Select the space type that best represents your building typology
Select elevator from the subcategory
Occupants: Step 3 of 4
Update the following inputs for the Occupants: Step 3 of 4 page when adding a new Space:
Occupancy duration should typically be 2 mins
Select schedule based on how the building will operate
Select No for social distancing. This is difficult in elevators
Masks, mandates and data should be for the entire building
Building Performance: Step 4 of 4
Update the following inputs for the Building Performance: Step 4 of 4 page when adding a new Space:
ParticleOne has special defaults for elevators which can be used. The defaults result in 11 ACH at 100% OA. The defaults are based on an elevator-specific study.
Mixing low is recommended
Typically, filtration is set to MERV 6 although it does not matter if default selected due to 100% OA
Use building settings for Temperature/Humidity
