Air-cleaning devices

In-room or portable air-cleaning devices can remove dust, allergens, smoke, and viruses from a space. Most commercial devices will specify a clean-air delivery rate (CADR) that is typically specified in terms of cubic feet per minute (CFM), litres per
second (L/s), cubic meters per second (m3/s), or cubic meters per hour (m3/hr). If a space contains multiple air-cleaning devices, the total CADR for all the devices in the space can be combined and input into the platform. For this user input, the volume of the room is used to calculate air changes per hour (ACH). The user may test the effectiveness of different levels of air cleaning and convert air changes to hour for the space volume to a CADR of individual filtration units.
